Uniform Bank open for Redditch parents this weekend

PARENTS across Redditch are being reminded that the uniform bank is open this weekend to help those in need.

The uniform bank will be at the old Farmfoods unit in the Kingfisher Centre on Saturday August 22, running from 10am until 1pm.

Organisers will have a range of items of school clothing including PE kits, coats, shoes and trainers.

Organiser Coun Harvey said: “Uniform back was started in 2013 and has become an established resource for Redditch parents.

“Over the last 13 years we must have helped to reuse hundreds of thousands of items of school uniform.

“This has saved parents a huge amount of money and prevented good quality items ending up in landfill. Everyone is welcome to pick up items they need on the day.”
