FOOTBALL – Alvechurch draw with Coleshill Town in latest pre-season outing

ALVECHURCH continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-2 draw against Coleshill Town in midweek.

Church twice came from behind to salvage a draw against Northern Premier League Midlands opponents Coleshill at Pack Meadow.

The Step Four side took the lead on 21 minutes when Niall Flint put the home team ahead.

However, Church drew level after the break on 52 minutes as Manny Ilesanmi continued his impressive pre-season form with another goal.

The home side reclaimed the lead courtesy of Ben Usher-Shipway four minutes later only for Church to equalised for a second time with two minutes left to play.

Alvechurch travel to Belfast this weekend to play Northern Irish side Cliftonville on Saturday, July 25 with kick-off at 3pm at Solitude.
