Dads invited to share their views and help shape family support in Worcestershire

DADS across Worcestershire are being invited to share their views on family life in the county.

Worcestershire County Council’s Public Health team wants to hear what life is really like for fathers, male carers and co-parents.

The feedback gathered will help shape the development of future support, services and activities. The survey explores what makes family life easier, what can feel tough, and what kind of activities dads would like to see. It also asks where dads look for information and events.

Coun Satinder Bell, cabinet member for health and wellbeing at Worcestershire County Council, said: “I’d like to encourage all dads and male carers to take part in this survey. Your views will help us understand what you need and help us make support in Worcestershire even better.

“Please take a few minutes to share your views. It will make a real difference for you and for your family.”

Public Health is working with partners, including Worcestershire Family Hubs, community and voluntary groups, midwifery and health visiting services, to make sure dads feel welcomed, valued and supported at every stage of family life.
