The town centre is going to have £880,000 worth of ‘improvements’ beginning in March reports The Standard.
£530,000 from Worcestershire County Council and £350,000 from Redditch Borough Council. To ‘improve’ roads and foot ways, drainage, street furniture, signage, planters, and street lights. There’s nothing really wrong with all this.
One wonders where this sudden windfall has come from?
We can’t spend money on the Hospital, or home some of the Towns homeless people living in tents on the Ring Road. But we can take a few refugees and make the path outside the Town Hall look nice.
This is the reason you should never vote for Socialists. They love spending other peoples money on things whom the money comes from typically don’t want. Roll-on the elections.
